The Breakfast King
It’s all hail the Breakfast King banger as Denstone Hall Farm Shop promotes a healthy wake-up

John and Dylan in the butchery department have drawn on their sausage-making know-how to produce the Breakfast King, which combines a wealth of mouth-watering fry-up favourites all under one skin.
As well as our prime pork sausage meat, the bangers also contain bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes and baked beans and has been created to mark Farmhouse Breakfast Week, a national seven-day event which starts on January 22nd and is held to fly the flag for the most important meal of the day.
The sausage has been named after the popular saying “breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a pauper”, which highlights the importance of making the first meal of the day the most filling.
We'll be sampling the sausage throughout the week at the butchery counter, so pop in and try the 'King' and tell us what you think.

Local Meats with real traceability

We specialise in locally produced traditional meats from Staffordshire and Derbyshire. Almost all of our meat comes from within 30 miles of the farm shop with the Beef coming directly from our own farm. Our counter sells a huge range of cuts of meat, game that's in season, and a selection of prepared speciality cuts ready for you to cook at home. We offer a butchery service which offers any joints to be cut to any size that you require or you may pre order for your convenience.

The Butchery Department at Denstone Hall have once again picked up a Gold Award for their Smoked and Unsmoked products at the Bacon Connoisseurs Week Awards put on by the British Pork Executive (BPEX).

Rupert said "having won a Gold at the Winter Fair at the Stafford Show ground in December with our unsmoked bacon we were hopeful that we might do well. When I realised we'd won a Gold for both the smoked and unsmoked I was incredibly pleased".
