The Farm Retail Association (formerly FARMA) has proudly showcased the best farm retailers across the UK through the annual awards for many years. These awards provide an opportunity for farm shops, farmers’ markets, PYO farms and trade suppliers to stand out against their competitors. They are the only Awards that are judged by fellow Farm Retailers.

Denstone Hall Farm Shop and Café has been named Large Farm Shop Of The Year, and Farm Shop Restaurant Of The Year at the Farm Retail Association Awards. Everyone is thrilled to have received these two awards with the Farm Retail Association having more than 400 members, it is a real achievement to have won both of these prestigious awards.

The Judges Comments…

Large Farm Shop: “The butchery and deli experiences were excellent. The team members exuded confidence and professionalism in all that they did. The team spirit was  evident and everyone could describe what they did, how they did it, the importance of looking after the customer and the feeling of ownership that they brought with them into the workplace was excellent.”

Best Café/Restaurant: The judges praised the variety of food and the well trained staff saying “Friendly, enthusiastic, well trained, recognised and empowered colleagues add the service to compliment the food, making this a go-to destination for those who enjoy the farm shop/cafe/restaurant experience.”
